Trattoria Maranellos offers a dining experience which captures the warm, lively ambience of its setting. For a view of the beach and the picturesque sunset, the garden terrace is the ideal place to relax with a cuppaccino or a chilled sundowner.

The Place on the Bay Hotel offers 21 serviced hotel apartments. All are elegantly furnished en suite rooms with a full kitchen or kitchenette, bouquet satellite television, air-conditioning and sleeper couches in most units. The luxurious and exclusive five-star penthouse with its private swimming pool and sundeck caters for all your personal needs, from delicious breakfasts to romantic nightcaps.

One Bedroom Apt
(2) 1 Deluxe one bedroom with King-size bed or two extra length single beds and a sleeper couch. A private terrace, side seaview and a heated outdoor Jacuzzi. The apartment can accommodate two adults and upto two children.
1 Luxury one bedroom apartment with two single extra length beds or Kingsize bed and a sleeper couch. This apartment has two bathrooms, one of which has a spa bath. It also has a double balcony with views of the bay
Two Bedroom Apt
(9) 5 Standard two-bedroom apartments include a sleeper couch and can accommodate two couples and two children. A number of these apartments have a private balcony. These apartments have side-seaviews
4 Deluxe two-bedroom apartments include a sleeper couch and can accommodate two couples and two children. A number of these apartments have a private balcony or terrace. Two have a full seaview and two have a side seaview.
Penthouse Suite
(1) The Penthouse is five-star on the top floor with undisturbed views of Camps Bay. This apartment offers two luxurious en-suite bedrooms, a spacious lounge area, dining room, patio and heated pool.
Access
20 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport and 10 minutes to the V&A Waterfront.
Transfers are available on request at an additional charge
Directions from the Cape Town International Airport
Follow the road signs towards Cape Town (N2 highway). Follow the N2 highway for approximately 20 minutes.
Drive towards the top of the hill passing a large cream-coloured building on your right (Groote Schuur Hospital). At the top of the hill, the road divides into Eastern Boulevard (N2) and De Waal Drive.
Follow the Eastern Boulevard (N2) sign. Continue to the first set of traffic lights approaching the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex on your right and The Cape Town Convention Centre on your left.
Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing the Cullinan Hotel and Holiday Inn on your left. Continue straight, the road becomes Buitengracht Road through Cape Town's CBD then becoming Kloof Nek Road along the top of the hill.
Continue past the Cable Way turnoff, following signs for Camps Bay.
Follow Camps Bay Drive all the way to Victoria Road (beachfront).
Turn right at the traffic lights on Victoria Road.
Turn right onto Van Kampz Road (2nd street right) and Place on the Bay hotel will be the second building on your left.

- The swimming pool overlooks Camps Bay beachfront.
- Internet access to a dedicated workstation, as well as wireless internet connectivity
- Beach Service – we offer personal delivery of light meals and refreshement to guests relaxing on the beach.
- Camps Bay Tennis club is 250m from the hotel and is available to guests for a small fee.
- Kayaking in Granger Bay can be arranged through Kaskazi Kayaks and is a two hour guided tour.
